I just tried it. You can pick one of their sample images and try the style through them. I have a 332 minutes wait this morning though.

Are you supposed to upload your own image style?

If you go to http://deepart.io/latest/ and hover over an image, you have a choice to "use style". You can also just upload a style of your own, like a jpeg of your favorite Picasso piece, etc.

I'd definitely recommend submitting a few at once, since some will work better than others and you'll have to wait a few hours anyway.

(Really thinking about some creative stamp images for the future here...)

Side note: is this website hosted on a moon of Jupiter? That's a long ethernet cable! Explains the wait time, though.

Jupiter is only 43.2 light-minutes away from the sun. Uranus is 159.6 light-minutes from the sun, though, so round trip, 319.2 minutes. It's probably hosted on a moon of Uranus. *nodding*

Oh my word! Those are incredible! I think there should be letterboxes planted near those. Oh, if only they were in the woods of Michigan. Or even somewhere in the United States.

Oh, Dawnkey. That list of places where I want to go keeps getting longer and longer. And, yes, four more weeks of my teaching career, one of the best things I ever did (32 years!!). But I'm hoping for another 32 years that will be just as great. It helps that my 7th little grandbaby is due at the end of September, shortly after Terry and I get back from the Canadian Rockies :).

There is a similar hunt available in the U.S. and it DOES involve letterboxing. Check out this series.
