Board: Stupider Questions About Letterboxing
From what I hear, VT can be pretty icy... LB we save the ice for out of town visitors. I have some I'm saving for you next time you visit. (this box series is in Mass.)

After another not-find today, with a box in its proper place with log but no stamp I once found a box that had some trinkets in it, including a small sympathy card the size of a business card. I've been carrying it around ever since for the next time I...

Kaniakapupu: http://letterboxing.org/BoxView.php?boxnum=39058 This one is listed on LBNA, I don't know anything about Hawaii, but it seems to have most of what you were looking for.

a letterboxer who we didn't know planted a series of boxes in that cemetery and used my husband's grave as one of the clues And I remember the wonderful series you had in that cemetery, all about his favorite things. Very sweet and very moving.

Yeah, that DOES happen! Photopam's suggestion (good one!) is at the ruins of the Summer Palcace....but it's not a cemetery-the only cemetery I know of along the Nu'uannu Pali Hwy. is the Oahu cemetery so that was the only box I could find. Other cemet...

You can only record unlisted finds if you are a premium member. Have you found any others yet or are you a newbie? Maybe if you find a few more and log them, you can find the listing for your accidental find?

Check the person's logbook for their Plants and see if you can figure it out from the list.

Sounds like fun! Some of us are going to an IL event Aug 6th, so please anytime but then.

Or, if you can't wait, go to Marketplace on the toolbar at the top of the page and sign up for a premium membership. Premium members can register finds of unlisted boxes at any time, not just on the rare hat days.

Email me with all the information you found on the box, including town, park, area, any names in logbook, description of stamp, etc. Since you're new, it may be restricted to 10 finds or 1 plant, so you can't see it until you meet the requirements....

Hmm...if you don't know the box name or the owner's name, how would you log the box?

Hmm...if you don't know the box name or the owner's name, how would you log the box? As a premium member, you can make all that stuff up. Most of my finds are boxes I've made up. I'm closing in on Public Hand fast.

Paint doesnt always stay on my boxes, I've tried several kinds. Especially where the soil is wet, I think our soil or swamp runoff is acidic, eats through the paint.

Depends on the kind of paint. I've used some paint where it started to scratch off before I got it to the woods. I always sand mine.

Okay, Leap Day has come and gone, so I want to check on our two final sites. Bungalow Boxer, I see that you have already gone to Mianus--do you want to go back and plant? Or did you optimistically plant a box while you were there? Let me know if you...

I took a Miss on a letterbox, because it was lightning and pouring down rain. When I looked up the name of the letterbox it was: Water Cycle Series: Precipitation. I went back 2 years later, on a sunny day, and found it.

I was not only home by 3:30, I got THREE SKY challenges done today! BTW.... Mianus River is NOT long. Only took me 35 minutes to do, which included hiding a box. BB

OK guys! I hope I got the correct trail sign! There are actually TWO Treetops signs. I took a pic at the one just over the bridge at the Laurel Trail entrance. However, there is a second I believe I saw WAY up by the house, where there may be a sec...

I was not only home by 3:30, I got THREE SKY challenges done today! High five! I did Black Rock today. I've been there before, so there were only a few boxes in the park left to find. That's a good climb, but not that far, so I was done by lunch time....

I have figured out that PAL day is May 24th, but for AtlasQuest, are state counts still done and announced? I searched and found a lot of excitement around 2008, but I am not clear if this was just a historical event or there is a place to sign up eac...
