I did actually miss you Warrior Woman. So now I know why you went missing.
I had found many of your plants. Will you be planting again as well?

Yes! I have a two stamp series (carved by dragonrider) set to plant, and another in the works from possibly Janila.

The feeling you get when you receive a brand new bike for Christmas on your 7th birthday is *nothing* compared to the way I feel right now :-)

Thanks for all the well wishes and good vibes. I ended up talking the dr into discharging me to treat myself at home. I swear they were trying to kill me!! They even tried giving me a double dose of the high amount of blood thinners I am on and treating me for diabetes that I don't have because the lady in the bed before me did. I'm so glad that even tho all I got from it was student loans I have a degree in medical science and that I know enough about medicine to protect me and my family. That hospital was miserable!! I'm still swollen and can barely see. I kind of suspect that even the CT with contrast was faulty since the injection machine jammed halfway through the test. So although I should still be in a hospital I'm more safe at home, ha! I didn't go to the hospital to die.

The new season of Survivor starts in just a few weeks, so it's time to sign up for the new Survivor pool! Anyone is welcome to sign up. Please try to send me your picks as soon as possible after you sign up so that I don't have to hound you for them later. :)

Feel free to post any questions that you might have.

Thanks,

No, nothing new and exciting to report with respect to reformulation. Sorry! The drawing board has been erased and redrawn many, many times! ;-)

I agree with the suggestion for Hope Cemetery - very interesting headstones. I'd also recommend Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington VT.

I'm going to try outsourcing more stamps for planting in the N FL/SW GA area. There's too many of my own around here anyway.

I'm looking for someone willing to carve a stamp with a doctor or medical theme. SWMBO and I visited a cemetery on Saturday that we decided needed a letterbox before we looked up the namesake of the place. It's a decent size cemetery, perhaps a dozen acres, with a paved driving loop and metal entrance gates. It's also meticulously mowed. But the paved loop is largely overgrown with grass, bushes alongside it have been allowed to spread over it so it's not even walkable, let alone driveable. Most odd, the entire cemetery has only perhaps 20 gravesites in it, and they're grouped in bunches, so most of the place is just field.

There is exactly one mausoleum, dead center middle. It belongs to a black doctor who became wealthy and one of the biggest landowners in SW GA back during the Jim Crow days. His great-grand-nephew later wrote a book about him. His name is Dr. Joseph H. Griffin, and the book is titled "Under the Knife" by Hugh Pearson.

So, who wants to carve a suitable stamp for me?

I have tiny dogs, and the most common place for them to hit when jumping off something a bit too high is actually their chin. Glad your little guy appears to be alright!

Thanks for the update! If there anything you need in terms of funding or testers, I suspect that you only need to ask. We could do a PZ kickstarter!

I'll also be in San Diego in February - Feb. 15-19. The info on the museums is extremely helpful.

We'll try to leave a box for the locals while we're there, and maybe we can meet up with anyone who's around. Our schedule is wide open.
