But how sad for them that there are only 8 members in Wyoming! If any of you guys want a letterboxing visitor out there, PM me! :-) Looks like a great place to visit!

Some guys are in a diner for lunch and one orders a hamburger. When their meal finally shows up, the guy's burger is just a bun and trimmings, no meat. So he says to the waitress, "Where's the meat?"
"Oh, sorry. Here it is." She takes a meat patty from under her armpit and puts it between the buns on his plate. At everyone's startled looks, she says, "Keeps it warm."
As she walks away, the guy says, "I'm glad I didn't order the hot dog."

Yes, unfortunately. I mean that because it has been an interesting and educational romp through the states.
GT has said that he got burned out so this is the end of regional themes. However, if someone will make up such a theme (that is as good as the obs he did) he'd put them up. I'd like to see US territories and Canadian provinces and territories but I have no pictures or enough experience to write something up. Any volunteers?

Gay Pride Theme
Board: LGTBQ Group
May 1, 2015 11:19am
So now that all the states have a theme, I’m proposing we try and turn Ryan’s attention to a Gay Pride Theme. Looking at the components of a theme, it looks like the major ones are:
a banner (something that gets repeated is common)
two or three little cartoons to put in the corners
something for Marjorie to wear
I think Marjorie should have a t-shirt that reads "Lavender Menace”
any other ideas?

Most themes are associated with a significant day or event (other than the State ones). Might I propose:
May 17th, International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia : http://dayagainsthomophobia.org/
The other possibility is to wait until the Supreme Court returns it's ruling, though there is the possibility that it won;t be a complete victory, and it's probably several months away.

Amanda definitely wants me to do some hiking in Ireland, so maybe we'll be able to visit someday. I'd love to finally meet you in person! =)

Update to clues
Board: State: California

I modified the clues for "He Said, She Said" this morning. I added more specific info regarding location of the item in the library as a few items in the clues have more than one possible location.
I posted here as many of you are coming down for the Pinecones to Seashells event tomorrow and may be searching for these boxes. If so...see you tomorrow!

Wow, this looks like a good one. Have never heard of it - thanks. Initially we had discussed having a theme for June, when so many Gay Pride events are held - to mark the Stonewall Riots, June 28, 1969. We could also commemorate Windsor v. United States and Hollingsworth vs Perry, June 26, 2013. Here’s a timeline of gay anniversaries through history. One of my favorites is April 15, 1979, Easter Sunday, when the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence first made their appearance.
K, everybody, what should we be celebrating?

Excited -- who doesn't get excited to go boxing? For Pete's sake, look how excited I was at just 'finding' someone who was letterboxing, not even a letterbox itself!

"My Searches" Function for Letterboxes
Board: Letterboxing Help Desk

I have a question. In the "My Searches" area under Letterboxes, it shows the searches that I already set on AQ, however, I can't seem to find a place to add a new search. Where can I find the way to add another search and have them sent to my e-mail?
Thanks
Pam
