Hey all you Santa Fe hikers - those of you who have not yet found my Falls LB (Agent 86?!) - now is a great time to do that hike, there is water in the streams and the waterfalls are in full swing. I just went and checked on the box, nobody had reported it found in a long time, it's alive and well and open for business. :-)

Been to Chloride once. It's certainly off the beaten track. Great little museum there. Have fun there, we were just in T or C and won't be down that way again for awhile.
Flight 1007 box

The Flight 1007 box in Santa Fe has been replanted this afternoon, after a brief ride down a flooded stream, a rest in a shelter at the campground, and a vacation with Newt and Pantha. It is back by the same tree but has been moved to a slightly different (higher) spot. So it's got new improved clues.

On another subject - hoping the Anims River in Farmington has calmed down a bit and hoping all those fabulous boxes from the event are safe and sound.

I have finally replanted/ fixed the majority of my boxes here in Las Cruces. I also planted a box at Sparky's home of the World Famous Chile Cheeseburger, that has not been found yet. Nice lunch spot with an added bonus. Plus I have a new series i am hoping to get planted soon!!! Yes i am trying to entice all New Mexico Letterboxers to plan a day trip/trip to Las Cruces to find my boxes because I love it when they are found and it has been a looooong time since anyone has found any of my boxes!!! Happy letterboxing all :) Hope to get some find notifications in the nearish future ;)

I am hoping that we can get down that way once the weather cools a bit. I am a wimp when it comes to hot! I don't know if you get the AAA magazine, New Mexico Journey, but about 6 months ago, it had an article about the beautiful painted water tanks in Las Cruces. It was very interesting and motivates me to want to visit... and to find your boxes near the tanks.

Hi there folks
I just moved to the area about a year ago. I started back up letterboxing and I am really enjoying learning about Albuquerque etc. Hope to hear from some fellow letterboxers that I can meet up with, have a coffee and shoot the breeze about our favorite hobby.
Thanks Cottonwoodlady

I just planted a box near Gila Hot Springs along NM 15. I found several other boxes along the way and noticed that not a lot of New Mexico boxers had found many of them, some have been added lately. I thought I would list a few here to encourage a visit to a beautiful area:
Gila Gilia

Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument Webbox

Plus there are boxes in Silver City and many more in Las Cruces and along I-10.

We enjoyed the cooler temperatures along our route.
Enjoy,
Pat

Be sure to check out the Code of Conduct and Glossary under Toolbox on the toolbar at the top of this page. That way you'll know what a spor is which will help when looking for letterboxes.

Hey everybody-
We went to Salman Ranch yesterday to pick raspberries, very fun! I highly recommend going there real soon before it freezes - and getting lionsmane's Water Powered Grist Mill LB and Fantastyk Voyager's Salman Ranch box. I checked on them both, they are alive and well despite no visitors for several years.

We were geocaching in Farmington in August and found a letterbox in the same dead tree as the geocache. We stamped in but now can't figure out which box it is....It's in Berg park right near the access on the San Juan blvd side....it's a person standing on the edge of a balcony or something and there's a raven? in the sky.

Please respond if this sounds familiar.

There was an event in Farmington at the end of May and, as a result, there are lots of boxes in Animas/Berg Park. The only stamp that I have in my book that fits that description at all is "The Searchers". Was there a "frame" around the stamp? The person is stepping off a wood plank sidewalk and there are hills and rocks in the background. It was hidden under a SPOR at the base of a tree in an open area. Does this sound like it?

Oops... I just consulted with another boxer who says that it was probably "Game of Thrones" which was indeed in a dead tree. The character standing there is Tyrion.
