We are up and planting - our boxes that are now far from us will be checked on, but if they are in bad shape we will pull and retire. Trying to keep up and change our home location.

Hey letterboxers of Nebraska. This is DogScout1. We came to visit family for Thanksgiving. While we're here, we're doing a little letterboxing. To thank everyone for the boxes, we also planted a box for you to find. Enjoy! DogScout1

I found a hitchhiker a few months ago, and I haven't been able to find a box big enough to put it in. I'd like it to get back into circulation. Any boxes around Lincoln big enough?
I have actually planted new boxes big enough for an HH just to get it back in circulation.
Good idea!
You can also mail hitchhikers to other boxers to get it moving along but I like the idea of planting a new box, especially in Lincoln...the city could use some more boxes.
I planted 2 in Lincoln, one last year and one this month. But, alas. They are too small.
Drats! But I'm excited to hear about new boxes...I'll be sure to look for them the next time I'm traveling through Lincoln.

I checked on my Ladybug letterbox today and what did I find? A geocache. No trace of my box. Link to my letterbox: https://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?boxId=280061 I have been scouring the geocaching website trying to find a listing of a cache th...

I sure am, and planting too.
Did you open the geocache--most of the ones I've found give the name and number on the log. With the name you could look it up on geocaching.com and send a message to the owner.
I opened it, and found nothing but a dime and a logbook. No writing anywhere.
I located the are of your letterbox on google maps and pulled up the geocaching map of the same area. I am a premium member so I can see all of the caches. There is no active traditional cache located in that area. So you have either found (a) an archi...

I agree with fbingha. I'm a premium member too and I can't find any cache matching that description. The nearby multi doesn't seem to be it. None of the nearby puzzles seem to be it either. It might be one farther out but most of the ones I checked on...
The last time I knew it was in place was April 20. Thanks for checking the geocache map!

I had a Letterbox go missing and was advised by a finder that it appeared a geocacher got ahold of this.. I kinda shrugged it off thinking - Geocachers are usually the first to put the blame on when a stamp goes missing... So the hubby and i took a bik...
1.There are a few other caching websites besides geocsching.com. 2. I have a letterbox that got taken over by geocachers, but they did not take the stamp.. it has had hundreds...yes hundreds of geocaches, find it. And like 6 letterboxers. And it wa...
