Well, back to the midwest with us! We're headed to Oklahoma for a few days in August of next year! We want to get with the letterboxers or letterboxer in OK! We will be there from the 6th until the 10th of August. We fly into OKC on the 6th at 12:01am.

Just an advanced notice, maybe something to look forward to. We'll be planting boxes so be prepared to have an influx of new boxes!

I don't know when School starts that Month yet but I'm sure it won't be that early so we will definately have to make plans to get together.

Hey everyone. I am new fairly new to letterboxing and we just moved to south. West ok. We love the outdoors and hiking. Any favorite stamps or must haves in the area?

I can tell you that anything planted by tichubabe (and carved by paper trail and night0wl and friends) are worth finding! I'm moving to SW OK later this month and can't wait to start finding. I will be able to tell you more then. :) Yeah for LBing in OK!!!

Thanks I will check out their stamps! There were no stamps in my town until last weekend when 2 were planted. I got so excited. I have been thinking about planting one but I have never made a stamp before. I love art and really into crafty things so it sounds like a blast but don't really know where to begin. Anyone inthe area willing to teach me?

I got into LB in Co from a friend and then promptly got moved to OK where there's not nearly as many and the ones that are close by most of them are missing. Yeah I got Frodo and Gandolf yesterday! Great carves and a super awesome hand made leather log! Now I just need to find a time to hit up the rest of the series in OKC. If only OKC was closer and didn't have all the toll roads i would be there all the time getting stamps.

I will be Enid beginning 9/25/2015 for eight days. Any local boxers? Any recommendations of must find boxes in the OKC/Stillwater area?

We have two boxes in Alva (about 70 miles NW of Enid) that have never been found. My husband is from Alva. We haven't been back for a couple of years to check on the boxes.
Gold Bugs 50th Reunion was planted Sept 2007 and 1580 to Alva was planted June 2010. They've had a rough winter back there so don't know what you'd find, but it would sure be nice to know that someone give these 2 boxes a 'try'. *hint, hint, SMILE*

Quite a few years back when we searched for the boxes in and around the area between Enid and Alva we found them to either be missing or in sad condition. I haven't checked to see whether or not new boxes have been placed since then.

I know I haven't done much in letterboxing lately but while picking up Jerbear in OKC I went west on a journey to plant My father's flowers. They are in a cemetery and it is under new construction but take some flowers and stamp in. I hope you enjoy the stamp!

Sorry, I see that you have already posted on the MO board. I saw that post after I already replied to your Oklahoma post.

The goofy group has a bunch of things going on in March 2017; mostly with Girl Scouts cookie sales end that month and I am in charge of a Girl Scout event that month. It's not likely that my group could make it. My apologies.

I no longer box, per se, mainly reading the boards now and then. Tell your Mama (Zinni) I said hi, and hope she is doing well, its been a very long time since we have talked. Hope you all have a good turn out and lots of fun.

Planting them was so much fun. Eastern Oklahoma was beautiful! I wish I had brought even more for that area. I think a return trip is in order.

Thank you to those of you who have stamped in at my father's gravesite. I appreciate it greatly. Thank you quiet place and your group for replacing a wet logbook with such a fine logbook....i have pulled this box and will replace soon I'm in the works to fix up a way to hopefully keep things from getting wet from now on.
