Rowdy and I popped up at the PPP event and had a blast with all the NC folks. Got to play in the park and found a lot of treats there. Picked up your box on the way home. Perfect day for boxing!!!

Logging a donation carve or box?
Board: Stupider Questions About Letterboxing

I've just starting sending out a couple of donated carves for events so far away I will never be able to attend. Do I log these somehow or is it up to the receiver? In one case I mailed an entire box, log book and all, ready for planting. In another I mailed only carved stamp. I've searched site, but I could've easily missed instructions. Thanks in advance!

We used to live in Ohio, and I always hated icing on my hikes. That's partly why we moved south.

We probably had about half as many trick-or-treaters as usual, or maybe even less. It sure was cold and rainy. -Rose

Most people let the person who plants the box list it. They'll add you as a carver where necessary. (Or at least they should!)

1)I would rather carry 10 overloaded plastic bags than make two trips to bring the groceries in.
2)I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between hunger and boredom.
3)Google Maps should have and "Avoid Ghetto" route option.
4)I'd bet on any Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Light than Kay.
5)There are facebook friends I keep just so I can make snarky comments to myself about their posts.
6)Nothing sucks more than that moment in an argument when you realize you are wrong.
7)Bad decisions make good stories.
8)Saran Wrap will always stick better to itself than anything you're trying to cover.
9)No matter how tough you are, when a little kid hands you a banana phone, you answer it.
10)There is no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die when you tip your chair back just a bit too far.

I keep track of all the states to which I've sent donated boxes/stamps in my free-flowing thoughts section of my profile. It's interesting to watch the list grow.

Endless cold rain here in Pittsburgh PA but no major flooding.
Lots of snow nearby but the thermal mass of the city kept it at bay.
My heart aches for all who have any loss from the storm.

Hope all are ok on the East Cost. This weather lately...

I hear CT has "a few" letterboxes. When he's not working, he might be able to lift a rock or two to find them.
