I'm in several small pools this year and I think I've pretty much picked a different best picture winner for each one and I have no idea which one will win.

The only one I haven't picked is probably the best of the bunch.

Okay, it's not a movie, but it's BASED on a movie--Monty Python's The Holy Grail.

We just saw this show last night and it was AMAZINGLY funny and very well done! They took all the best parts of the movie (as well as my favorite song from The Life of Brian) and incorporated them into a live stage musical. It was wondeful. If any of you get a chance to see SPAMalot, I highly recommend it! Your money will not be wasted.

I saw it last year when it came thru Chicago (the touring cast). At some points I was laughing so much, I was crying. ("Surely there must be other cups")
Oh god, just the thought of it has me laughing:D

Crap! Somehow I created two profiles for the Oscar pool, and the one that I used to make my picks isn't the one that I attached to the group. And now it doesn't look like I can delete the one without the picks, and you can't have two profiles for the same person in the same group. ARGH!

Ahem...yawn...I'd like to thank 'Bug and 'Screw and our Cape Cinema in Dennis. I'd like to thank my
DH who reads the movie reviews in the New Yorker and the Wall Street Journal and who used to
manage a Blockbuster (was a film minor in college). He doesn't have a signature stamp so if you carve
the Oscar statue I'll give it to him so he can finally start stamping it. Snow is coming down like crazy
but looks like we have to go to school. Thanks for the fun. I'm not used to staying up so late though. s.p.

WOW. SP you did an awesome job and CCLB didn't do to shabby WTG. Way to represent the Cape you two.....lord knows you couldn't count on me...coming in last lol. I did however get 5 right. Not bad for seeing only one of the movies nominated hehehe
