So if I had had 5 boxes show up on my trophy but only 4 showed in my logbook, they were questioning me.

Geez! Even my regular boxing friends don't do this to me! I'd be seriously creeped out if I knew that a non-friend was doing this.

They're locknlock brand. One that failed, I ordered online.

The other two I bought at JCPenney...one of those was due to a wire getting stuck under the flap. (I used wire to attach camoflauge sticks, moss and pinecones to it...mistake)

I figure the other two weren't closed properly....maybe I should leave the baggies out...

Most of the time, I am in that same boat where I can have a cup of coffee or espresso beans before bed and go right to sleep, but not last night. Wow, worst night of sleep in a long time. Just water for me today! Sleepy Jeff

NORCAL is famous for going after mystery boxes. i know CT does too. i've found that places like Southern California doesn't seem to remember to go look for box clues in the Mystery Section.
How do i base that assumption you ask? Because every time i go to an event in Southern California no one finds this certain box. Sounds like a hint to me huh?
Or any other events i attend. No, its not a Personnel Traveler.

I, for one, am NOT happy about it. Ryan showed me the theme a couple of months back with my picture in it, but I honestly thought it was a joke and that he was going to change it before the theme actually made its debut.

Sadly, I've had someone that watched my finds so carefully that they knew exactly which days I'd been in areas and how many boxes I'd found. So if I had had 5 boxes show up on my trophy but only 4 showed in my logbook, they were questioning me. That's when I turned my finds off.

This is exactly why we had to lock up our finds too. It is sad when you cannot just play the game and be yourself. The worst part about it is though, recently, I had someone voice their opinion on how, by locking our logbook, it was us being out right sneaky, like we were hiding something or maybe not being honest with our finds. This was also frustrating as well as hurtful.

Would anyone be interested in joining me/meeting up this Sunday for a day of boxing in Abbeville? Wasn't able to make the recent event, but love this little town, especially in spring.

do I label them 20/19

If I found a card that was 20th out of 19, I'd be a bit confused. :)

If you're going to number them, the second number is the total number of cards that are made. This signifies just how limited a limited run of something (cards, prints, impressions, etc.) is. Now it's not like LTCs are necessarily going to have value (monetary, of course), or have a higher value for being in a very limited run, but it still makes sense that if you're going to put the run size on the card, that it at least be accurate.

I usually either decide how many that I'm going to make and number according to that or count the total number of cards after I've made them.

If I make more cards after the fact, I identify it as a "second run" or "third run" and the numbering is based on the number of cards in that run. But this is fairly rare since I usually give away or plant my stamps.

As others have said...some people have nothing better to do then express doubt on the boards and at events about what YOU (the royal you) are doing.
Some people even question whether you have actually found a box, or how many miles you have traveled to find a box. Or even what day did you actually find the box. i always make the dates i find boxes not the real date i find them so as to make it harder for those that have nothing better to do than try and figure out what i am doing. *sheesh*
Yes! It is just all so CREEPY.

I almost always make extras of my LTCs so I can trade after the tracker is complete. For example, If the number needed for the tracker is 18, I might make 25. I create all of the cards at once and number them 1/25, 2/25...etc. They are ordered by what I feel are the best impressions (1 being the best) so I then send the first 18 to the swap, and the remaining ones go in my box for later. I keep one for myself in my own binder as well.

If I wanted to make more of the same cards after the fact, I'd label it "second run" and start the numbering system over. This is just what works well for me!

I haven't hidden any in the "Store & Save" brand that is sold on locknlockplace.com so I wonder if those aren't all they are cracked up to be?

That brand is also manufactured by Hana Cobi and is made with the same materials and certified to be airtight/watertight. I wouldn't worry about them. Of the two brands, I've had more failed Lock 'n Locks (but my sample size is small, so that is hardly statistically significant).

I think it will depend on how one's body metabolizes caffeine, but for me about three to four chocolate covered espresso beans (eating them without the chocolate is less enjoyable LOL!) is equal to maybe a six ounce cup of coffee. What do other's think?

Side note: I use chocolate covered espresso beans when going on long driving trips - you get the wakeful component without having to pee all the time like soda or coffee causes :) Just know lots of espresso beans may upset the stomach a bit if sensitive.

I went to capital university which is in bexley. It's a very nice place. But worthington is in the middle of everything and there is a lot to do all around. I used to sub in the district and I loved it! Hope that helps!

I would also choose Worthington.
Bexley is kind of like a little island. It's a great neighborhood with good schools, but it's surrounded by some areas that are not so good. To get to anything like big shopping malls or movie theaters you have to leave the island. The good thing is that it is very close to downtown. If you work downtown the commute will be much easier.
Worthington is more spreadout and has more options for entertainment and shopping. It is surrounded by other great suburbs like Dublin, Powell, Westerville, Upper Arlington..., but in minutes you can be "out of town" and enjoying the country-side.
I lived in Worthington for many years, so I might be biased, but we have friends that live in Bexley. We could give them your email or phone number if you would like to talk to someone with personal experience of living in the area.
