Just ignore the box. If you have logged your find on the first one, clicking "ignore box" will get it off your search...

Doesn't gorilla glue need water to activate it?

No.
The bottle suggest wetting one side but it is not necessary. It is very slick. The two pieces being joined can move if not held in place. It also dries hard reducing the effect of foam cushion. Up side it is waterproof.

I use a shoebook for my unlogged ones. It's a Converse sneakers box and it's a perfect size (long and narrow) for ltcs in their sleeves.

Letterboxing at CT state parks--the parks are good here in northern Hartford county. We've been to Shenipsit State Park in Stafford/Somers, and was at the Scantic River Trail in Somers yesterday. The Scantic River is high and some of the trail by the river is washing away, but none of the letterboxes are affected. The trail leading to them may need to be changed slightly, though.

Wish all of you the best of luck with storm recovery. We were part of the few who have had power.

Coming to visit for the weekend. Usually we do alot of kayaking and hiking. But I'm grounded to non back straining activities. So letterboxing it is. I'll be hanging out with non letterboxers at Wits End camp. It's on the Bear Brook river I think. I was there once before.

I have had two series that earned blue diamonds. They were diamonds for about 8-10 months each and now both have disappeared. It was rather disappointing, too, because I felt honored to have earned the blue diamond. Oh well..........on to new plants.

I ended up with 3 stings, 2 on my ankle that swelled up in a HUGE mess and hurt and stung and itched for a couple weeks.

If your stings swelled up huge and the itching lasted that long, you may have developed an allergy to bee stings, and/or the sting site might have been infected. Both happened to me after an encounter with yellow jackets -- even though I had been stung by bees in the past and never reacted. I ended having to get medical attention.
Just be aware in case you get stung again -- if you have developed an allergy, your next reaction could be more severe than the one you just had.

yes they will show. They will be solid text, not a link. When people look at your logbook they will all be listed together, not interspersed with the others with an unknown find date just as it it were a Mystery box.

The same is true if someone deletes a box off AQ. It gets converted in your logbook to an unlisted find.

Unlisted boxes do allow you to enter a date, and will show up in your logbook in correct date sequence. At least they do in mine. I don't know if there's some setting that governs that.

I believe the dates show in our own but not when we view the logbooks of others. Unlisted finds and mystery boxes show the date as hidden.
