My school doesn't have lockers, and I'm really mad about it cuz my backpack's heavy. I was wondering if there are any other schools out there without lockers.

So you have to haul your books around? Usually schools without lockers will have a set of books at school for you in the class or homeroom or whatever, and then you have the same set of books at home. I wonder why you have to actually carry everything.

Our old school was a charter school housed in an old elementary school.. so no lockers, because they weren't in the original equipment. After years of the middle schoolers having your same plight, a group of them approached the administration and asked if they raised the money themselves, could they donate lockers to the school. They got permission, they got the money and they got the lockers! A nice legacy to leave future middle schoolers.

I go to college and my school doesn't have lockers. My backpack is really heavy too. I'm actually posting this at school before my first class. They expect us to be big kids and carry our books around, but since I don't have the same classes every day, just every other day, I can switch out the books in my backpack. I have asked my teachers and half of my books I won't need in class. Woohoo!

coolness!! I'm now a college so I can't go anymore, beside the fact that I never went to a public high school, so I couldn't have gone anyway. I was never asked to it, just to Mormon Prom which is different from normal high school prom.

There are several teens in CT who box, many with their families. When you see events pop up in the area, try to go to them and you'll meet some. -T
Colleges with a lot of boxes?

I read a post awhile back that mentioned a college with boxes hidden all around/inside it's campus. Are there a lot of colleges like this? What are they? I am in high school, and as I will eventually have to think about where I want to go, the amount of letterboxes on campus could be a deciding factor! :) (My parents disagree... apparently there is more to college than letterboxing...) haha

Thanks, BarefootMunchkin
