There's a free Kindle app for iPod Touch available at the Apple app store, where you get all those apps you've been hearing about. You buy the Kindle books from Amazon. They average about ten bucks apiece. There are other free reader apps and free books available too. Most of the free books are classics like Treasure Island, Edgar Allan Poe, Sherlock Holmes etc.

Do you leave them as balls or do you flatten them before baking?

F 300

congrats 4 Ch!! What a great milestone. I am just ready to switch my ribbon also, but haven't grabbed that last box needed. Of course, my new one will be your old one. It speaks well of all the adventures that were experienced in order to get these ribbons. :-) storm rider

OK, when you conduct an area search, does it return only boxes within that area, or within x miles of that area?

Only within the area. If it's even one step outside of the area, it won't show up.

The idea was to establish a list of all of one's boxes.

If that was the goal, that's the search to do. =)

It's part of the Dead Lemurs Group -- which is not one you are a member of by default. If you want to make it easier to find, Go to Boards | Board Settings then go to Manage Groups, and join the dead Lemurs Group.

I have heard that people in hot climates like the "orange stuff" because it holds up better in extreme temps(both hot and cold) Any opinions on how "pink stuff" holds up?

I haven't seen any problems with orange or white PZ, or pink stuff, or even mastercarve here in the hot desert part of arizona.

Have you read the newest one and if you have, how is it?

There are elements that I like about the book series that I do not like about the show and vice versa. Both are really good.

OK, I've looked at the Letterboxer Directory and seen the webs. However, I was somewhat surprised to find that when I'm looking at the Box Details page of a box planted by somebody who hasn't logged in for over a year, no web appears. That would seem to me to be the most important place for it to appear! So when you're considering hunting the box, you know right up front that the owner apparently isn't active and therefore might not be maintaining this box and most certainly won't be responding to inquiries.

I like this better, to say something nice done for you. Since a lot of people don't really like saying what they've done, because then I wouldn't feel like my act was genuine. You know, the whole I don't want to toot my own horn thing. You know if you've done something nice, but do people know something nice has been done for them?

Please don't kill me! I'm just expressing how I feel toward myself, not others

That makes me sad. You need a hug.

It makes me sad too! Its a big part of why I want to move as soon as possible. To me living here is like living in another country, a very angry hostile country. One where not speaking spanish is offensive! I've been cursed at in spanish so many times because I don't speak spanish, like I'm trying to be rude.
Ok! Maybe I should be on the venting board!!
But I do love the traveling event box idea! Think I might do that, then I can share it with everyone.
