I've also looked at the blog A Year of Crockpotting and was planning to post the link, so here it is:
http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/

I have misplaced my crockpot, so I need to replace it to try any of these recipes, but there's some excellent
things on it (not all food -- she even did gifts in it at holiday time), and she writes humorously, so it's good to
read.

I recently discovered a link to the London Times' top 50 food blogs (from around the world), which you can
look at here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/real_food/article5561425.ece

I've found and tried some great things on them already: Pomegranate Margarita recipe, Chile-Tequila-Lime popcorn,
and am looking forward to more. I like the one from someone based in Istanbul called Cafe Fernando (cafefernando.com).

Anyway, happy blogging and cooking!

Depends how much time you have there are few right down the road too. Canton and North Canton are super close too. There's Something about Mary and Take me to the Cross are just down the road apiece and fast ones as well as Golden Eagles, Don't Blink and Maze'n Letterbox.

Have fun, it's a pretty area.

It's already snowing here. The weather people have no idea what's coming though. One channel said 6-8 and another one said 12-16!

So If I go MIA that means our luck has run out & we're actually on the end of town without power :)

Well its over! The kids did great, they didnt win, but I think the parents were more concerned about that anyway. They had fun and were proud of themselves! It was definately an experience. Our skit was very short and after watching a few others in the same problem, I see a lot that we could have done. But like I said it was an experience and they learned a bunch. Now we have one under our belt, if we do it again next year we have some better ideas on how to do things.

Thanks for your encouragement. I am sure if I get suckered into coaching next year, I will be begging for help!!

The local Groundhog got it right - only three weeks left of winter. The snow started melting almost as soon as Chuckles made his prediction. I've been out walking everyday for the past few weeks to melt away the pounds and saw the piles of snow disappearing on a daily basis.

Hello fellow OHIO Cinci group, I have a question for you...

I am gathering up my boxes for planting at SGC...

I am thinking that I need a restriction on these boxes... since I want more experienced boxers re-hiding them here... I just don't live close enough to check on them often...

Argh! Help - I've started making LTCs, but can't find the cheap little plastic sleeves to store/mail them in. I've already had two failed attempts (one set of sleeves were too skinny, the sleeves I bought at Providence Hobbies have a scantily-clad Amazonian woman on all of them). Anybody have a good source in the Ithaca area to get these "cello sleeves"?

If you have a walmart in your area (or any store like that that sells trading cards - Kmart, Target, etc) then you can find them with all the trading cards. Usually it is in the front of the store.

Mama Bear -

I bought my sleeves from The Dug Out over in Cortland. You might be able to find them at Comics for Collectors in Ithaca if they are still there. If you are not going to be heading to Cortland, I am going to be coming to Ithaca Monday afternoon, and I have some extra sleeves (not a full package, but close) that you can have.

Yep! That's right folks! 4 new attractions have been added to the "Let's Go to the Carnival" box! I pulled the box this week so I could create a larger pouch...it was getting a bit crowded in there...the carnies were startin' to get cranky. ;~) I will have it replanted in the next day or two, so you can come out and have some fun at the carnival!

btw, the carnival is one of the boxes that had been selected by another boxer to be adopted. The adoption has been granted and will be finalized next month!

Blackberry/Iphone version?

Since Susie and I have dipped hesitant toes into the icy waters of the Blackberry, I noticed that many websites have versions that fit the mini-screen and avoid graphics that gobble megabytes. Can this happen (or has it already happened) with AQ?

One of the great things about the new Atlas Quest is that you can move more commonly used widgets to the left side of the screen, which means less scrolling on the Blackberry.

Unfortunately, after some tweak a year or more ago, I have been unable to record finds and make comments to the placer through the Blackberry. (I've never been able to send AQ messages.)

Atlas Quest does use a heavy amount of battery juice. Use with moderation unless you will be near a charger.
