L & L Knockoffs on Sale at Job Lot

Ocean State Job Lot has a coupon this week for 13.5 ounce "Freshness Keeper" L & L knockoffs for $.75 each. The regular price is $1.25. You'll need to be on their email list to get the coupons, which are issued each week on Thursday. There's a limit of two containers per customer, but I often print duplicates and make more than one trip when there's a good deal. To subscribe to the Job Lot email list, visit this site:

Ok, everyone remember this for the next time you see Ryan at a gathering! ;)

I was certainly guilty of insisting on a hug when he completed the big hike! It's true--he didn't mind at all!

You could try the Lily Pad in Willimantic. It's an art supply store that has lots of stuff including pink!

I have indeed bought some of the pink stuff and Mastercarve there! (And found a letterbox...) And they were the first place that I asked--they told me to try Staples...

Pretty sure I've seen calligraphy supplies at Michael's -don't know about ink tho' - they'll honor AC Moore coupons too! :-)

I'm going to try there tomorrow--I did not know that about the coupons, though! Does it go both ways?

That's worth a try--I ALWAYS have coupons for them!

There's also a Jerry's Artarama in West Hartford, which is a little closer to you.

That's good to know! Although I have been thinking I need to make a trip down to the Norwalk area...check out those Ridgefield boxes and those donkeys!!

Warrior Woman from Narragansett chiming in here.

I'll be happy to assist in any gathering plans. Carve, raffle items, et al. Even if I am unable to attend myself (for those who know my vision/driving situation)

One day I hope to get through "Godel, Escher, Bach". I start it every few years and get about 2 chapters in before I lose momentum. Some day...

I think I bought that one about 20 years ago. I just took it off of the shelf--yep, the bookmark is still on Chapter 3! But I like to look at the pictures...

I think having the kids make ten each is a great idea.

So does that mean they don't really all have to be EXACTLY the same? I've been a little worried about that--and I want to let my daughter (Purple Penguin) help.

IF one of the guys steps up and starts a ring ???

Oh too bad...I was thinking that men and women both have heart throbs so I was hoping there would just be one big ring, but I'll get over it. Kinda sad no one picked Orlando Bloom or Channing Tatum. LOL
Who's the British guy from Pride and Prejudice? he's super cute too. Dang...for someone who doesn't drool very often, I'm doing pretty good at remembering who I think is super cute, huh?

How are we missing Mel Gibson? Can I say...."BRAVEHEART"!

I wouldn't mind seeing the "educational" button turn into something else. That's always seemed like an unnecessary one to me.

I have to admit, I did not hug him when he emerged from the Big Cypress hike. We did cart him home in an enclosed vehicle, though. Does that count?

nobody picked Richard Gere either. I LOVED him in Pretty Woman. He didn't stand a chance in First Knight due to Sean Connery being in the same movie, but Pretty Woman he was good in!
