Yes, I do realize she is very attractive. Not one of the many autographs on my wall, though. I might have to do something about that....

Ok, I wasn't sure how good my memory is, so I looked it up. Crazy Harry liked to blow things up. It was Lew Zealand with the boomerang fish.

It appears I am woefully underqualified to be on this singles board. I watched Star Trek as a kid but much prefer Boston Legal to get my Shatner fix. My own dweeb quotient includes love for the game RISK, studying maps and "plaques on a rock."

OH man! I used to watch Star Trek from 5-6 p.m. on Providence Channel 6 (or was it 4?) religiously every day.... then rush down the street to Grandma's house for six o'clock dinner! (Yes, we were the only house in town that could get stations from four states on our TV... and without cable too ;-).... Was there even cable then?????)

Am I the only Battlestar Galactica fan out there? Trek is all well and good, but you have to be a well-rounded geek, I think.

Galactica and Trek...am I on the right site??
I loved them both...and not to get too "geeky" about it...they were both very reflective of their time. I mean, think about all the '60's reference and fashion in classic Trek. Then, all the 70's stuff in Galactica. And don't forget Buck Rogers...if that wasn't a 70's vision of the future, I don't know what is.
So what would be an 80's decade show...was Trek: TNG the only thing?

The intelligent, Sci Fi message board you mean....Yep, you've got the right site.
Buck Rogers was great, I liked the original Battlestar Galatica but I can't get to grips with the new one.
And for the 90's, the most fantastic, the best of all....BABYLON 5! The best series of all Sci Fi dom.

Alright, if we can have a singles board on a boxing site then we can talk sci-fi and geekdom! I think the classics are great, but you have to give the new BG a chance, because it's definitely on the edge. And for today, don't forget the newer SG-Atlantis! See now, we can correlate all the sci-fi shows with boxes...new spin on a "TV Series".
Hmmmmm planting thoughts and hopefully boxes...

Let's not forget Space:1999
I liked the original Star Trek and DS9. I wasn't that much of a fan of TNG and I didn't get to see the other spinoffs so I can't give an opinion of those.
BTW I have a VHS copy of every episode of DS9. I found the satellite feed tapes at work and managed to get copies before they were *recycled*. I hope they are still good. They aren't being stored in the most ideal place.

Maybe we should have Ryan change the name of the board to Singles & Sci-Fi or something like that. :) (When he gets back of course)
