Hey Ryan, Thanks for the sports board.  It's hours later and I'm still feeling snarky about the F-1 race.  Can't penalize Bridgestone for being prepared is what people are going to say, but didn't this very same issue happen last year with Bridgestone making the wrong choice of tire and oh, they wanted to make a last minute change, which of course it was allowed - Michael Schumacher needed them.  So many cheats where he and Bernie are concerned.  He is the best racer, admittedly.  However...

Monteiro was delightful to watch in his exuberent energy of a podium finish.  That was a high note.

You non-car racing people - 14 of the 20 cars parked it before the race started because the Michelin tires were deemed unsafe for the track.  That created the flap.  Another notch in the division between the team owners and the FIA.

Interesting.  Sounds like some of the silliness on the main list on Yahoo. (the flap, that is).

Talladega's first race back in '69 went like this. Richard Petty led a boycott of about 30 teams over unsafe tires, neither brand of the day was staying on the rim over 190 MPH. A few drivers broke ranks and a few others from a support series joined in and the race was held anyway.

Nope, didn't get to see the game. Unc Sam called-as usual on game day. Heard it wasn't so fun for our side. :( Hey, they're young--basically rebuilding the team from scratch. Ok, now that our annual 'spat' is over it's back to the bigger picture & a unified effort toward liberty for all. Hooah!

I had a pretty good hunch that Seattle won, though, because it was all quiet and nice outside while I was working, then BAM! Firecrackers glore! Simutaneously from several directions. People shouting. I swear someone had to be shooting off a canon. The Seahags are Halfway decent, but that's because they switched from the AFC a few years back. If they're in the AFC this year......nahhh, nada, nyet, nope, nu'uh. Would not have happend. Sorry you crazy cats!!! Pittsburgh by double digits. Love ya all, but I can't see this one happening. All this from a Buffalo Bills fan!!! Go Bills!!!!!!

Don't worry! All this talk of positions! Ryan admitted that he only knows of the Quarterback position! AND One year we were at the grocery store stocking up for a hiking trip the weekend of SuperBowl and the clerk asked us what our plans were for the weekend. Ryan said," We're Going Hiking" He then turns to me and says, "Why is the cashier asking us what we're doing this weekend?" It was SuperBowl Weekend and the clerk assumed we were stocking up for a party.

I have a trip at work that I have been trying to get rid of and I couldn't understand why no one was picking it up. (It is a really nice trip) It is because it is flying on SuperBowl Sunday! Someone finally pointed that out to me! So I guess I will be working that trip on Sunday. So I'll know who wins cause the pilots will be annoucing updates as we fly along.
