Yes there is! I finally got around to getting myself set up here. Did you and Dancin' feet get some boxing in this weekend? I spent some time with a friend and her 9 year ld daughter doing some of the easier ones in the area. I thinkwe've hooked another one.

Well you now have my snail mail and know I'm in Hollis, NH. I'm hoping to get out your way and search for your new boxes and others in that area some time soon. This weekend is tied up with a charity golf tournament on Saturday and I'm doing a kayak workshop with some cadet girl scouts on Sunday. Not enough days in the week.

never enough hours in the day or days in the week! i am still sitting here with tons of boxes to plant and can't manage a couple of hours to get out and do it. then there is the searching, hard to choose which one to do when i do have the time, hunt or plant? plant or hunt? i still don't have all the ones in your area, been trying to get up there for months. if you get down this way before i get up your way let me know....

Hmmm, been looking for boxes in the Wolfeboro area to do when a friend & I take a kid free 3 day break. While checking the mystery boxes saw your "it's a jungle out there" box. Very intriguing. I think I have it figured out. But I guess we'll have to see, won't we.

I've come up with an idea for a series and hope to plant the first one in Wolfeboro. There isn't a whole lot in that area and I visit enough to be able to check up on a box or two.

you think you have it figured out, humm, maybe. it is not really near wolfeboro but depending on how you go there you might pass by it. i would be very interested in knowing if you are right! i won't tell you where it is..... :) but i might be persuaded to tell you if you are right or wrong.

Yes, I realize it's not in Wolfboro, but I came across it while looking for Wolfeboro boxes and it caught my interest. I emailed you apart from this message board. If you're so inclined, I'd be happy to get a yea or nay on my detective work!

I'm just starting to get into the mystery boxes. I've got a few on my desk that I'm trying to pin down. I had maps spread out all over my office the other day and jumping back and forth to the internet trying to confirm suspicions on different ones. Now to get out there and find them.

i thought i checked all my emails and then while going through them just now saw that you sent the notify 2 days ago! so i just sent you an answer and then checked here. soooo sorry i did not see it earlier. i am usually better than that... really i am! i love mystery boxes. have you tried out revenge yet? quite a simple one. i think it's a jungle is a little harder. hopefully i will improve with time.

Hello Letterboxers of NH. I'm a newbie!!!

Hi everyone,

My husband and I just started Letterboxing t6his week 09 05 06.
We found out about it from a friend at camp.

We are from Manchester, NH.

We found 2 letterboxes.
We just started on Tuesday.

We might look for another one this weekend.

I have a question -
What do you do in the winter when there is 4 or 5 feet of snow on the ground???

I have some good ideas for planting letterboxes around my area.
I will let you know when I plant my first letterbox.

Hi to skier4444 - you planted the first letterbox we found.

This ia fun and it makes me feel like a kid again.
We are avid hikers when our knees and ankles work good.
So this will be good incentive to keep on hiking.

Ok, everyone take care -

God bless all the Letterboxers out there!!!

Quote My husband and I just started Letterboxing t6his week 09 05 06.

Welcome!
Quote We are from Manchester, NH.

You have some very avid letterboxers in your area. I'm sure you will meet them.
Quote What do you do in the winter when there is 4 or 5 feet of snow on the ground???

A lot of people get their best carving done during this time. You could always find some indoor boxes, such as libraries or you will find there usually isn't 5 feet of snow at all times in all places. Personally, I like winter boxing much better than summer boxing as long as there isn't 5 feet of snow or the temp isn't below 20.

Welcome again and I hope you enjoy it half as much as we do.

snow boxing is great! and i am a die hard hate the cold person, but give me a letterbox and i am out there! the boxes make it just fine through the cold depending on the container. one will learn really quick in snow country that a good waterproof container is vital. dress warm, learn to carry an ice pick in the backpack and don't try hiking up mountains. play it safe and winter boxing can be fun!

new box in Durham

Hi- I am new as of late august (Family Fun) and I just introduced some of my friends to LB. They had not been doing it long, (at least long enough for me to tell them the unwritten rule about not planting a box until you had found several) when they planted a great box in Durham. A short easy walk, with a fabulous box and a treat at the end! I do hope to see more boxes by the teamaster!
