Delaware is requiring permits for geocaches and letterboxes.

Caches in Lums Pond and Killens Pond, as well as the Mapsurfer #8
letterbox on Pea Patch Island, were the problems cited. For
background, check geocaching.com fourms (search for posts over the
past year by NappingBears, a state park employee), and posts in the
Delaware Geocaching group on groups.msn.com.

Killing the messenger should be avoided.

Does anyone from delaware want some stamps I carved for the state trees ring?

They are the words: Delaware, American Holly, Ilex Opaca
the pictures: Holly leaves and berries, state outline of delaware.

I don't need them anymore, but thought maybe someone could convert them to a traditional letterbox or small series.

I cede the word "Delaware" to the member from Ohio, but I would be happy to do something with the other stamps if nobody minds....

If you mean the state park near Rehoboth or the one near the Indian River inlet, we can recommend the following (quick and easy):

Anglers Shark Fishing in Lewes
Shiver Me Timbers in Lewes
Nanticode in Bethany Beach
Greyhounds reach the beach in Rehoboth
Rehoboth Art League in Rehoboth

I had a wonderful day (the only thing that could have improved it would be better weather so that I could have gotten out to box =) And behold--a birthday miracle--people are actually POSTING on the AQ Delaware board!!! LOL

Seems little Delaware is doing well with it's boxes, this week is the second in the last three that features a box in Delaware. And Fishman's series is excellent, well deserving of the title. So congratulations!

Lightnin Bug and I are hosting a gathering at the Lehigh Valley Zoo and Trexler Nature Preserve in Schnecksville, PA on May 22 this spring!

Sewsobizzy has a few down that way. I've got one on the Breakshore trail and there are a few in Cape Henlopen Park, including some really old boxes that are still intact. Remember to check on LBNA, some of the older boxes are not listed on AQ.
