Quote Me too. Guess we were having too much fun for some? Thanks to whomever got it pulled- hope you're satisfied. Perhaps you can find a funny bone to purchase on ebay, cause you need one.

Maybe they didn't realize it was a joke. Do we know it really was a joke?

oh...what I think is funny is how People were upset over something that I really think was just flat out an April Fool's joke. (If I'm wrong I will eat my words.)

Most folks (again, myself included) were completely HAD.
Funny stuff y'all...ever who you are.

I have 2 guesses of 2 folks that I think is included in the prank but I would feel like the biggest FOOL of all if it were to be false, so... you can't pry it out of me.

Anyone interested in my April Fool's Box (Poisson D'Avril= April Fish) please contact me via my e-mail. This is a fun little solo box (not a ring) to commemorate a favorite day of mine. You'll understand what Poisson D'Avril's all about if you do!

Only requirements are that you've done 5 or more letterboxes, traditional or postal, and that you share a favorite April Fool's story that either you did or were on the other end of. I posted on the LBNA board but thought it ought to be here as well. I still have spots for 4 or 5 more. Thanks!

Take care, Orion
P.S. I'm looking to let folks know by tomorrow and ship it out Monday.

I send to MoonBunny and Tree Hugger. Yes, I have some strange looks from people at the post office. Eventually, they will all know the letterboxing story and will recognize me when I come with packages.

I wonder if one day all post office employees will learn of postal letterboxes as part of their training. Who knows??

We watched that documentary in one of my classes in high school. At the end, one of the students very seriously asked, "Are there any of these farms nearby?"

Stuff like this documentary always amuses me.
Just like the story of Orson Welles playing a radio version of H. G. Well's 'War of the Worlds', and people thinking that aliens were actually invading...
That would be one heck of an April Fool's joke.

And here I was, rubber-banding faucets and filling shower caps with Kool-Aid.... :D
