I've been away from zoo world for a few weeks now but I've noticed some changes.

What's the deal with the treats? I started just clicking on the one that gave the most XP points but stopped because I wasn't sure that was t he best thing to do.

In order to level up now, you have to collect experience points. To gain XP, you feed your animals treats and then after the allotted amount of time, you click on each animal to collect the points. Since you clicked on the treat that gave the most XP, you have 2 days before you have to come back and collect. The time spans range from 10 minutes to 2 days.

OK, and if I don't make it back in two days what happens? I loose the points?

The longer you wait, the less points you get. If you wait too long, it will go down to 1XP.
