...than the Yahoo group! Plus, I'm too tired to sleep and it seemed like a cool idea at the time! :-) If you know anyone who boxes in the Buffalo Niagara/Finger Lakes Region of NY, invite them to post here!

Having never heard of Montgomery, I just looked it up. It's much closer to the other end of the state, near the capital, and NYC. Maybe try posting on the NY board, rather than the WNY one? Anyone over here would have to drive about 6 hours to get there, lol.

Is there anyone from the Buffalo area who can tell me the AQ names of the two women who recently got me started on Letter Boxing? They had a booth at the Richardson Complex in Buffalo, on September 28th, 2013.

It would be nice to be able to thank them and let them know my interested continued, after their introductory event at the grand opening of the South Lawn last month.

I know the boxes for that event were planted by this trailname:
http://www.atlasquest.com/people/profile.html?gMemberId=76325

(Given that they planted the day before, and retired them immediately after, I didn't think anyone had gotten them!)

I don't know who they were, or whether they actually have any connection to the AQ community. Their account looks like it was created just before their event.

Oh! I will check this out. Yes, they were there to get people involved with AQ. Their brochure had AQ website on the back.

I see what you mean. Wonder if they have another identity on AQ. I don't know why they disappeared so fast. I don't think they will be checking in for The Basics mail.

Do WNY boxers ever get to meet each other?

Yes, we frequently have events. We just had one in Genesee County this past weekend. I believe the next local event will be Grinchfest at the end of December.

You should be aware that there are very few active boxers still on this board. We usually use the "State: New York" board.

Hello -I just discovered the the GCVM is hosting a letter boxing class for families on April 22, 2023 10-12 and 1-3. This includes making a log book and then finding letterboxes on a guided walk through a nature trail. Cost- $12.00
