Tyrotoxism [TAHY-roh-TOK-siz-ihm]
(n.)
- The poisoning, intentionally or accidentally, of someone with cheese (or other dairy products).
From Greek “tyros” (cheese) + Latin “toxikon” (poison).
Used in a sentence:
"After an exhaustive examination, I have determined that tyrotoxism was merely a happy accident, being as she’d already laced his cognac with arsenic, which was his habitudinal digestif; therefore she is technically not guilty of homicide."

It would be difficult to judge that.
But I'd like to run around and sample after the judging!

Yikes! According to Berret-Koehler:
"It's sounds almost comical, but people often forget that cheese is essentially dairy gone bad, and if not carefully produced, may contain impurities that could easily kill someone."
As bad as that sounds, I could not find a single case of death from it - not that I doubt that it happens. But going down that rabbit-hole led me to a whole plethora of weird deaths. Googlers beware!

BREAD CHEESE
Board: Cheese!

My boss recently introduced me to bread cheese and it is SO GOOD. It's not bread at all, it's cheese that is firm but squishy like bread, and it doesn't melt, even after heated up in the oven. It's delicious, similar to mozzerella but more umami. And it's squeaky like cheese curds! 10/10 would recommend! I've tried plain, garlic, and bacon varieties and garlic was my favorite but the others were great too!

Interesting. I had to google. I’ve never seen it anywhere.
You can grill it. Like a breadless grill cheese.

Yes but it comes pre-grilled. I just heated it up in the toaster (it says to heat until it bubbles) and it was wonderful!

I've never heard of this! I looked it up, it's also called Juustoleipa, and it originated in Finland. I'll have to see where to find it in my area :)
