My last birthday before pregnancy, so 2007?, my DH and I had a nice bottle of an Australian Grenache. I'm not a fan of spicy or peppery reds and I like sweet whites, but this, this was a wonderful meeting of flavors...hmm delightful. Also, just had another lovely Grenache the other night that reminded me of of that birthday wine.

my neighbor makes wine which started me on making beer... if Prohibition happens around again we will be all set :)

So in 2014 I started making wine and I am still at it. I have made 40-something batches. Mostly fruit wines but also at least one 100lb grape order per year. I learn something from every wine I make.
Any other winemakers out there?

Not so much as a winemaker but a wine drinker. Always love tasting your wines.
