Happy AQversary Papertrail! It was great hiking & boxing with you this past weekend. I loved your carves of The Littles! Can't wait to find more of your work!

So I was in my local library (in Indiana) last week talking to the librarian about hiking books and I hear this voice from behind me say, “Jabber?” I turned, dumbfounded, and there was Paper Trail. I did not recognize her and I don’t know how she recognized me—good with faces I guess. We had only met face-to-face at L&B in Massachusetts, but enjoy each other’s PLBs, chatting via AQ, and sharing events. Happy happy AQ’day wherever your travels take you.

Even though Boxtoberfest and Once Upon a Time are being canceled, don't despair. This pig is moving on in to pick up the slack. A good time will be had by all. More details to come.

This event was enjoyable. The people were friendly and fun. Boxes were aplenty. The lodging was convenient. Food and snacks were always available. The cost of this event was a bargain for everything that we had and did. Thank you oodles and bunches to Night0wl and Rebiccola and their moms and the helpers who made this past weekend run so well. Extra thanks to Rebiccola and Star Dad for setting up telescopes and sharing with the rest of us. I am sorry to have missed seeing Saturn's rings, yet I was so tired after all that we did. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone -- and to Sudoku Crazy, who knows why. 🤣

I agree!!! It was an awesome theme, trails, stamps, and overall event- and telescope viewings were like icing on top! My nerd side definitely noticed and appreciated many of the details included in props, clues and even hiding places. Great job, ladies (and extended families!)

I second! I really enjoyed the location, everything was very organized, and the quality of the boxes was out of this world. ;)

I just planted a new box in Charlottesville: English Muffin Wall. Check it out! https://www.atlasquest.com/boxes/clue/?boxId=333824

My sister just introduced me to letterboxing and I'm having sooooo much fun both finding boxes and carving stamps. I wouldn't be surprised if more boxes start popping up in the C'ville area!

Thats awesome! My parents live in Staunton and we usual visit C-ville when we're down that way. I will look for it later this summer. I'm also trying to plant more boxes in and around Staunton whenever we come.

Brilliant! I'm out near Staunton every once in a while, so I'll certainly check out the boxes next time I'm out that way.

Anyone around right now and want to go boxing? I’m in town for a quick work trip and would like to go out but there’s not much close by. (Within 30 mins and box still available).

I'm in SC, but was up that way for less than 48 hrs two weeks ago and saw the same thing, unfortunately. I WAS able to find several on my way and, fortunately, took a different route home, so I found some more.

Fairy Stone State Park Random Find

I got a message from someone who found a box and found me on AQ to let me know. He sent me a pic of the box, it's not mine. I put the pic in my photo album in the toolbox, if anyone wants to look to see if it is their letterbox. The pic is named Fairy Stone Lid.

I e-mailed the person and asked what the name was and where he found it. He said: He isn't sure which one it is. It was near the Fairy Stone hunting area just before you reach the wildlife area. Looked like it maybe used to be a logging road. The container was broken as well.

I asked him if he could send me a pic of the stamp or the first page of the log book. Haven't heard back.
