I have a large 15" x 10" sheet of green carving medium. It's dark green on one side, dark blue on the other, and I cannot recall the name of this medium. It's probably vinyl relief plate aka Japanese vinyl, thoroughly described here: https://kimherringe.com.au/lino-printing/my-linoprinting-favourites/

I used it for my Swamp Duck stamp (now disappeared). It's relatively hard, but yields good carving detail. That said, it can be hard to get some types of ink to stick to it.

For boxers in Newark Ohio.. how hard would it be to plant a box here? I hear it’s guarded. Cool building.

I have a box dedicated to it just down the street. Given the condition of the building (at the time) and the fact that it was for sale, I thought a plant there would not last long.

I do believe I actually own part of that building, considering the crazy number of baskets I bought from there years ago! Still have a bunch of them!

Me too! My mother and I used to have our own parties, just her and me! The box I planted was just before a pilgrimage to the mother ship to make our own baskets, but it was at the tail end, probably weeks before bankruptcy, and the place was a ghost town. It was surreal.

So sad! I sold them for a while but bought them for much longer. A great friend of mine, and host, got to make her own basket. She passed away years ago, and her husband sent that basket to me. I will treasure it and her friendship forever!

Me too, to give them as Christmas present. Only have the 2002 Woven Memories Basket.

My cousin used to sell them and I never bought any from her because they were expensive, but my grandmother bought a bunch, and after she died, I inherited a couple of hers. I love them. They are so well made and colorful. I have a Christmas one, but I use it all year and it sits in my kitchen. Makes me feel happy and loved to use it.

Very! I especially liked the part about the picnic basket handle had heating coils to melt ice so icicles wouldn’t fall on to the glass atrium.

The most amazing Event. Both Cookie Cutter and GypsyLadybug did an outstanding job in everything. Thanks for the ideas about making people's stamp and teaching how to make logbooks and making LTCs.

Very nice event. Fun time learning new things and catching up with friends and meeting new ones.

I so wish I could have been there. I'm hoping if these two lovely women continue the tradition, I can attend in 2 years.

Agree - on how fantastic the GLB&CC combo is and how great it would be to see AW and others attend. This one has it all, every time!

Great hosts; comfortable setting; time to visit with more than just those with whom one shares boots-on-ground trails; laughter; good food; just enough traditionals to make stretching legs and getting fresh air a good idea, no matter the weather; topics and tutorials upon "consumer demand" by tops in their giftedness; the list goes ON!

ME TOO! I was sad to miss it. I juggle my trips back to the midwest around family now for birthdays and holidays, etc; and they are not jiving with event dates very well so far! :-(

So fun- wonderful event! Tina & Mitzi sure know how to throw an event!
