Wow... 3 years without a post?

Some good friends, lbers too, just moved to Kuwait, so I thought I would check things out. Hopefully while they are there they will have the opportunity to plant a few boxes so there will be something to talk about here!

Well, we've been here in Kuwait for almost a year now. Every place I've spotted for a potential plant is well guarded. In fact, I was trying to get a photo of a date palm and was approached by a guard just making sure everything was cool. They're quick to deport anyone that appears to be suspicious.

Other places are kept immaculate. The trees here are still young with not much green on them. Bushes are trimmed and raked regularly.

However, I'm not giving up! I have a stamp boxed up and ready to go, As soon as I find an un-guarded, un-kept, un-exposed hiding place, it's in there!

Well my friends, I have planted a beautiful stamp carved by The Gillespie Tribe in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait! The good news is, since I am in Kuwait to do this, I am no longer in Iraq! WooHoO! My tour is coming to a close! A few weeks and I will be home! HURRAY!!!

Congrats on leaving the hole of a country finally...to bad arifjan is kinda hard to get to when you redeploy conus...especially with being in Kuwait less than 24 hrs before flying home like I did...be safe...a grateful for your service...

Congrats on all your success in Iraq and in placing that first Kuwait letterbox!! Thanks so very much for your service and all the sacrifices we all tend to take for granted. We are proud of you! I hope there is a nice hot steak grilled to perfection and the beverage of your choice---ice cold waiting for you upon your safe return to American soil! God Bless you and your family!

Yesterday, my 7 year old twins were telling me that you needed to make an election theme, so I explained that you had already created one with the Hanging Chad Guy in Marjorie's usual spot. They wanted to to know who the Hanging Chad Guy was, so I showed them his picture on Google. This morning when they saw that picture, they started bouncing around yelling, "Mommy it's HIM! It's CHAD!"

Not just Hanging chad, but the whole entire family I love. you have Pregnant Chad, Dimmpled Chad, Douple puncehed chad, and then there was the most loveable, hanging chad. I think there should be a law that keeps states either, a presidential canadate must step down, if their family is a governer of a state, or or in a posotion where any form of propiety could be constrewed. Atleast Jeb, should have taken a sabatical during the elections, because I still belive there was impropriety done by him to get his family into the white house that year. Just saying.
