My brother, T-Model Michael, has been diagnosed with cancer and begins treatments this month. He has become extremely weak and cannot enjoy his usual diversions around his place in Wyoming. Good morning, Everyone. Thank you for your kind words. I am not going to reply to every person individually and clog up the AQ messages widget, yet I am grateful to each of you.

Munkeybee, buttercup60, PapaSolo, Dark Zen and Evil Cow Pie, PRbruja, McSchmidty, THE RED CYCLONE, Sheba, Pumpkin Gal, flgirl, shooting starz, Gypsy Fiddler, and TeachJR, I do not even know all of you, and I appreciate you for taking the time to show kindness.

If you all were local, I would invite you to meet my family and get to know Daddie through his memorial service. Do you know what? You are invited, anyway, simply because. 🙂

Today we will have a private, family viewing. The last time that I saw Daddie was last Monday when we surprised him with a ride in a '57 Chevy.

Wednesday he went to the ER with a swollen foot and was admitted for twenty-four hours for tests and observation. The tests showed nothing. Several days later, his body stopped.

Please take time today to see your family, to spend time with them if possible, to talk to them on the telephone. Tell them what they mean to you. We do not know when we will no longer have that opportunity.

Please continue to pray for Mommie. I cannot even imagine what she is feeling.

Think about R as he tearfully works on the eulogy, and think about H, as this is the first time that he is experiencing losing a grandparent. I do not think that he fully grasps what it means that Grandpoppie is gone from this place.
