So, my mother zoemomma came to Indiana to bring me Thanksgiving. I was on ICU backup at the vet school and had to be here for the entire weekend.
Now, everyone knows how sad I was to miss the Augusta Gathering where my mother, sister, and boyfriend went.
Well, mom left this morning to drive back to SC. I went into my bathroom a little while ago, open my medicine cabinet and I'll be darned if there wasn't a cootie in there that they passed around at the Fall Into Boxing Gathering. Thanks to all 3 of them, it brought a smile to my face, now I realize that they ALL plotted against me.

They are telling me it is payback. See, I carved and sent a cootie to my sister to plant on my mother and I carved and sent a cootie to my mother to plant on my sister (pitting them against each other). Then, the event stamp for leatherhead.
Now, that I have found out that they were ALL in it together.... I will be carefully planning my revenge.

Oh, the way things unfolded this morning between leatherhead, mom on the road, and my sister on instant messenger (then cell phone).
After I found the second cootie and was on the phone with leatherhead (before reading Jenni P post about keep looking) Jim says, 'how many have you found?" I said 2, he says, "oh, you are gonna be awhile" and he went on to say how they were SOLICITED!

I tell mom I have found 12. TWELVE, PEOPLE! When I was innocently sleeping in my bed this morning my mother was doing this to her loving daughter. So, now I don't know who to believe. Jim says I still have a long way to go. Zoemomma says 12 is all she hid, "really". Greycrazy says ohhhh, you may NEVER know and that I will probably still be finding ones next year.

PEOPLE...for crying out loud, I started looking in MY FREEZER. She left them in all of the most random places...I mean, MY SHOES? THE CAT FOOD CONTAINER????!!!!

Oh well, we have all laughed so hard this morning that our sides are aching and some <ahem> may have laughed so hard they peed their pants. I know Greycrazy was laughing so hard I could practically SEE the tears stremaing down her face. Leatherhead, it is SO great to hear him laughing out loud, ya know 'guys' don't do that often.

So, one by one, I have found 12. I will be logging them for the next week. You ALL are now on my 'list'. You all will receive special attention at some point in time, most likely within the next 6 months! <ahem March>

Thanks all for a side-splitting morning. They are all lined up on my desk awaiting. But, I do need to get rid of this Black Cat Bad Luck cootie SOON, as I am still awaiting veterinary board grades. I might have to break a rule and send one in the mail.... but break the rule just this once because I get superstitious about vet stuff (just ask 'em, the family).

under headings. You can do the following. Just take the spaces out to make it work. The 1 is the biggest heading and it goes down to 6 being the littlest. I think.
