On the login page, was "register" always to the right of "login" or is that new? I usually just mouse over to the upper right and click, and this time, it tried to register me. ugh! Please put it back the way it used to was.
also - the font has a weird shadow effect that makes it a bit blurry and hard to read. Not the best. Either that, or my eyes are seriously messed up from driving at night.
I use Firefox 3.6.18

Both of these questions were answered in previous posts in the last day or two. :) Insecure login was taken away because of confusion and just refresh your page to get rid of the shadow effect. For more info, check out recent threads. :)

Actually, the shadow problem just started for me. It wasn't doing it when I was at home all weekend, or this morning, but now that I'm at work, it is. Multiple refreshes do not help. I use Chrome both places.

I don't think you need to refresh each time, or at least you shouldn't. I haven't had the problem that everyone is talking about. Try clearing your history on your browser.

No, once should do it. The cached versions of the CSS pages just need to be refreshed. Once they're refreshed, everything is back to normal. (In fact, even if you do nothing at all, eventually the browser will reload the CSS and the problem will go away on its own. You can just speed up the business by using the refresh button.)
