Set your timer for 15 min. No more, no less. Then run and attack something in your home. When your timer goes off, write and tell us what you got done. Was it purging, cleaning, bookwork or just simply reading that wonderful story your child has been dying for you to read to them. Can't wait to find out. :)

I do this all the time! You will be surprised at what you can accomplish in 15 minutes.

Sex.

We are usually quicker, but took our time because we had a full 15 minutes.

Thank you! I don't think this is quite what you had intended but here's my 15 minutes. I got up this moning feeling pretty blah, and down right cranky. The kids started bickering the moment their eyes opened. For an hour, we all just grated on eachother. Then I read your post. I turned on a show for them, went in the bathroom and turned on the fan timer. My normal shower is 5 minutes, in-clean-out (kids to take care of, conserve water, blahblahblah). I spent the entire 15 minutes in the shower. I lathered, rinsed, even repeated. I actually let the conditioner condition my hair. I feel GREAT!!! So, although I am the only thing well maintained after my 15 minutes, it was sooooo worth it!

Done! Originally i was going to my truck to get my book-on-tape out of the cassette player and was going to work on scrubbing dishes... but then i decided to spend 15 mins on cleaning the truck! I even had enough time to bring the cup holders in to be scrubbed in the sink. Wonderful challenge.

Kitchen counters cleaned off--all the misc. spices etc put away and everything moved and wiped under.

DH liked Cyclonic's accomplishment better though.

I ran out and cleaned out the back of my van. Did you know that there is a carpet on the bottom? I didn't. It was an exciting find ;)

Put a few items in my trunk yesterday and will be delivering them soon. My brother stayed with us over the weekend, so I had a week to crazy clean. It's amazing how much dust can accumulate when you aren't watching.

I found a great balance to getting these chores done - clean one hour, cool-down period (it's hot and humid here) by checking AQ; back to work for an hour, followed by an hour on AQ; rinse and repeat as necessary until all is in order.

Awsome job everyone! I had so much fun reading all your accompishments! :) It's amazing how much can get done in 15 minutes. :)

I must admit, in a strange little way....I failed my own challenge. But with the mind set of 15 minutes, I was able to accomplish much, much more than I ever dreamed I would do yesterday. We tackled a PERSON! No time for anything other than "hey" and we got to spend half the day with our daughter doing something she needed us to help her with. :)

I think the greatest accomplishment yesterday was learning that we could go 15 min. emotionless in front of someone we really, really dislike! No anxiety for daughter and grandson to pick up on and feed off of. No one was put on guard or defense. We walked into the lions den, did what we needed to do and left. :) What a great feeling!!

Mountain moved and ready for the next one!

I know I'm a day late, but yesterday's 15 minutes were used to write to a special 5 year old and a special 7 year old on the other side of the country. Then, my hubby and I went to the store to pick up some belated b-day present. Today, I'm on my way to the post office to mail the box. It's only about 3 months late!

Spent my 15 minutes cleaning out my computer inbox by unsubscribing to many many email lists. A different kind of clutter, but it does eat up my time!
