I don't like robots and am scared of a lot of mechanical things.

Spooky is what I'm thinking. Could you imagine that "bigdog" machine coming at you in the woods while you're out on the trail. Granted it is a bit wobbly and you might be able to out run it, but i would be so chicken towards ever going in the woods again. Bock bak baaaawk baak!

I'm totally on board with the dog. Allergy free, no mess, no brushing, no barking, no bathing. I would name it Astro.

I think a 12 gage shotgun with 00 buckshot or slugs will pretty much take them out. :)

Only briefly. You need a hydraulic press or molten steel to terminate them.
