Yea Cowboys!!

What? What? AR was pre-empted by the Oscars here! Maybe I can find it on-line. Very glad to hear the cowboys are still in it.

Totally agree! There were some pretty amazing changes in ranking in this episode.

Hey, how about a spoiler warning! I watched the Oscars last night and was planning on watching The Amazing Race some time today.

Okay, the outfits that they did the last task in weren't as funny as the cheese wheels or the guy trying to march, but they were very, very funny, springing along in little hoards of fuzzies with little joeys. Let's hear it for the amount of stuff that spilled when M tipped over, right after the springing line. It was as funny as K(C?)'s dad's jacket spill.

I just love the cowboys and the way they stay caaaaaalm. Even when they're justified in getting upset and rattled, they're calm and collected. They're absolutely my favorite team in this season!

I like them too. They actually seem straight forward and nice. Some of the other teams are so mean and catty.

It was Amanda and Kris. They were the last ones at the starting challenge, so they had to do the U-turn. They did really well but couldn't quite catch up. Too bad, too - Kris looked really good with his shirt off in the challenge!

Amanda certainly liked that! =)

I have to say, I absolutely love the cowboys, but I also have to admit, I don't think they're the brightest bulbs in the box. I keep remembering back to the first time they played and they exchanged to get Brazilian money when they learned they were going to Chile or something like that. Hello? *knock knock* Then they got lucky with a bunch of cowboy/rodeo themed challenges.

I absolutely love those guys, but I wouldn't be shocked to see them come in last either. One major advantage they have, however, is that's they're both young and strong. Anything that's physical, they aren't going to struggle with, and there seem to be plenty of teams right now with that problem. (And I'm a little surprised at this--if they struggled physically the first time they played, why the heck did they think they'd do any better the second time around?!)

I couldn't believe how many of the times didn't think of using a computer to find the location of the clue. It seemed like there was an awful lot of random wandering going on.

Yeh, especially Mel and Mike... geez, I thought we were going to see our first Amazing Race heart attack victim. Ya gotta wonder if they have enough to make it the whole way.

I do like that this season there have been a couple times already they've had places to find that were not just gimmes. But you're right, a lot of wandering... especially the cowboys, they just kept walking around in a fog not even asking people. I like them a lot, but I have to agree with Ryan that they don't seem like the sharpest crayons in the box (umm, how could they not get that flag thing?) Heck if I was racing for a million bucks and needed to know where something in town was, I'd be finding a computer or asking every single person I ran into until I found somebody who knew!

I think some of the teams had a preconceived notion of what the clue meant. You know this happens in letterboxing too. They thought it might be a boat rental place or sailing school or something so they were wandering around the marina area. Luckily they ran into the folks at the maritime museum who pointed them in the right direction
