Thanks for all the prayers, thoughts, confetti, and what not... Abigail Leigh came at 2:24 am on Friday 10-30 and weighed 5 lbs and 13 ozs and was 19 inches long.

She is doing really well for being 5 weeks early. I am doing much better before leaving the hospital my bp was still 132 over 88 but seems to be doing well and the swelling in my ankles is way down!!!!

Mouse Nanny and Rock Star we have received the afghan and LTCs thank you so much and to all of you thank you for being such good friends!!!

I still have a lot of catching up to do at home since I hadn't planned on going to the dr's and not coming home for three days, I would love for Bob or Wendy to take over the cake days for a few days (Thanks)

That is so wonderful for all of you! My ds was born 6 1/2 weeks early and spent 5 1/2 weeks in the hospital It was so difficult. You are blessed. enjoy this special time.

Am curious if you will give her the nickname Abbi as she grows up. That would be cute. If you are yelling her name out the screen door, can you just imagine that the last part, gail, will get lost in the wind? On a windy summer day?

When I had my daughter (Emily), I had every entention of calling her Emi. And we did for the first 4 years. Then she decided she didn't like being called Emi and wanted to be called Emily. So we now call her Emily.
People who knew her when she was really little (like Sunday School teachers) still call her Emi, and it just sounds so weird now!

well when she is really upset she is called Crabby Abby -- maybe she will change her trailname from baby Goofy to Crabby Abby later... or peanut all the nurses called her that and her daddy calls her Little Bit (drilling rigs have bits)

While I maybe "Sunny" or "SunnySideUp" (or "WalesFlyerMary") in the LB world, the rest of the world calls me "Mary". 33 years ago I decided to drop my middle name, but extended family still calls me "Mary Jo". It makes me smile now. :)
