Where would be the appropriate place to post a request for postcards (store bought) for a school project? I'd be willing to send postcards for others who have a similiar project. Thank you for your assistance!

The text of the teacher's letter is this:

Dear Parents, The third grade students at Wales Elementary School in Wales, WI are learning about the regions of the United States and maps. To help the students learn more about these topics, we are hoping that traveling friends and family would be willing to send postcards to the children in the classrooms. In the past, the students ahve really enjoyed receiving postcards, determinig where they are from , and using them to further their learning. We are looking forward to a similiar experience this year. If you are able, please send a postcard from your travels to Wales Elementary School, 219 North Oak Crest Drive, Wales, WI 53183 Attn. Ms. Racine's Classroom

You might want to try the Postcrossing, not Cross-posting board.

Also, Yahoo Group have a lot of postcard groups. You might want to try postcardheaven (one word).

I'll send one from Georgia! Any special request? Do I need to write something on the back? If I do, what do I need to write?

When is this project finished?? We are having an event 10/10th & will ask people to bring postcards from all over.Then I'll mail them to the school all at once!! Would LBing sig stamps be appropriate on the back??? Brenda

I'm a teacher and I think this is a great idea! A postcard from the philly are will be on it's way in the near future.

Expect one from CA, too (Bay area--it's a big state!)
