Quote I suspect my "Spiedie Fest" and "Presidential Helo" are gone, as well as some of Songchicks and one from Celtic Quinn.

:'(

Aww, man....*sigh* my first box in that area, and it could be floatin' down the river.
Oh well...I'll just have to go back up that way and plant some more soon!

Hope your boxes fair well!

We hope you and family are o.k Scout...we're thinking of you!

I totally forgot!
My box WAS in a lock n' lock! Cool!
So, that means if it DID float away, at least it's safe! I just hope it's found.

I really do hope you got your mom and other family taken care of and that you are well.
I have been thinking of all y'all up there for days...not really knowing you but at the same time having enough of a connection to worry. Boxing does seem to bring many of us together even if it's only in thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad to read your post, which means that you are well and have at least a little breather to think about your boxes. Good luck with the clean-up. I'll have to express sympathy instead of empathy, since I've never experienced water, then muck all around.
I just smiled today, as I planted another Cayuga Waterfront Trail (and Hangar Theatre) box, knowing that you have been picking them off one by one because I am less organized than you and plant the boxes in the series one at a time. I have one more planned, then have to wait for the trail extension to be built for the next. If you can wait, the next should be done before the end of July! And I'm still trying to think of a good long hike to send you on!
Hope you have some spot of your life that is not damp!

Scout,
I hope your pumping of water was only from your basement. I'm lucky here in West Endicott, to live just far enough from the river and the creek to not have been affected, other than the minor inconvenience of boiling water. When the waters go down, if you need help checking on any of your boxes (that I've found and know where they should be), let me know. I guess we should all be on the lookout for those "hitchhikers" that could end up anywhere!

Uh-oh..which one of yours? It's not the one of mine that's the one of yours, right? (whimper)

Actually, I dont' know for sure...but it's more likely the one that's actually mine. It was far closer to the river than the one of yours. *nods*
