Looking for someone to adopt a letterbox out of state

I am looking for someone who would be interested in adopting a letterbox out of the state of Georgia. I have a group of 7th graders where I work that I have gotten interested in letterboxing. I have carved their school mascot for them and they are making the logbook. I want them to be able to see the progress of their box as it is found but I would like to place it somewhere besides in their home state of Georgia. I think that this would make it much more intersting for them. Is anyone interested in this? Thanks!!

Would you consider a trade? I am a leader of 8th graders and we can send the same (we have a mascot carved as well!) for a placement there. It's not all that far, Alabama, but this may give them the opportunity to come visit occasionally. I'm close to Montgomery so could hide the box somewhere there.

Yes. The box will not remain permanently. I have been asked to speak at therir 8th grade graduation next year so my goal is to leave the box for that one year time frame, pull it and have it for them atheir graduation - kind of like a memorial. Then we will probably plant it closer to home so they can visit.

I would be most interested in an exchange. Two times the fun. I will contact you off-site to exchange addresses. Many thanks!!
