Don't get me wrong, I've totally had enough of winter with the slush and the cold and scraping thick sheets of ice off my car and the cold and also the cold. But did anyone else get the most AMAZING snow last night? It's about 4-5 inches deep here and lighter and fluffier than I have ever seen it before. Just thought I'd share. : ) "Champagne powder" indeed!

I actually didn't find it amazing. As I was driving home from church in the midst of it, I was thinking that I wanted to go slap that groundhog upside the head!!!! Enough already. :)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one harboring extreme measures against one groundhog I'd rather not mention! But I was thinking of something a tad more extreme than slapping... maybe a polar dip?

I'm not a fan of the snow...however, I must admit that it was beautiful the other morning as it clung to the trees and everything else. It was very fluffy, indeed.
Now, though, I'm over the beauty of it and it can all melt!

But, but, but...he LIED to us about spring!!! ;) And, TT, you understand my distaste for the cold weather. And we seem to be in a pocket for extra snowfall this year. Yesterday it was snowing when it wasn's supposed to be! And then everyone freaks out, the schools close down, and our Minnesota friends laugh at us!

In Buckeye Chuck's defense...he was woke up from hibernation.

How would you feel if someone came and woke you up from a nice long comfortable sleep just to put you in a cage out in the cold?....I think he predicted spring soon on purpose, just to make us mad...he's probably laughing at us now! ;)

It doesn't matter what he deserves. He's a celebrity...he'll get off scott-free.

Well, wouldn't that be "hear-say" or something (I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play one on t.v., so I'm not sure of the legal term)? I mean, I don't think a person can testify as to how someone (or some cretin, I'm mean creature) is feeling...right?

the schools close down,

I don't think my own kids have had a solid 5 day school week the whole month of Feb. As a teacher, it's nice at first, but then it just gets annoying. You can only draw so many arrows in your plan book before you can't even read what you've written!

And, no, Hale s Angels, I'm ashamed to say I do not have that closet cleaned out yet...sigh. Maybe one more snow day wouldn't be so bad after all...hmmmm

No, he'll get sent to celebrity rodent rehab, get out early, write a book, sell the rights to make a movie, and end up living in Barbados where he'll never even have to worry about hibernation!

MHD---I suppose this guy will be able to play golf while he's there (reference to any other celebrity getting to play golf is totally unintentional) and the visual image of our mister rodent laying on his back all stretched out in the sun with his umbrella drink by his side is just more than I can take! =)

<Who knew we had a famous celebrity>

One good thing about the best of the Letterboxers that the brightest don't wave their own flags, degrees, or accomplishments. When they do, they tend to stick out........like a sore thumb.
And not too attractively at that.
