Does anyone laminate the LTC cards they make? Is this advisable? Is there some sort of spray coating that is applied to keep the art in place? I scrapbook so I was thinking of just using those kind of supplies for the cards... is that good to do?

People that want to keep it together and protected usually put them in the plastic sleeves you put baseball cards in. They are about $1.00 for 100 of them

Some scrapbookers use a coating that is applied by a sponge brush. It is called "Mod Podge". Check out the link. I just use the sleeves or plastic card protectors.

A few of my designs have called for it so I had to, but most of the time I have not and I have not seen anyone else laminate theirs either.

I used Mod Podge on my Peace LTC (from the Peace, Love, & Happiness set). It gave a cool shiny, brushed coating over the handpainted paper.

I love Mod Podge! I use it to coat some of my logbooks for my letterboxes. Very cool stuff!

I do too!!!! What's even cooler is that they have a matte finish, and an outdoor version (probably not necessary for LTCs... ;-)) - and probably some others - but those three are my staples!!
