Hi Ryan, the past day or so when I have used the "My Page" button on your nifty toolbar, I've been brought to the log in page, to enter my name/password. AQ used to log me in automatically and go straight to My Page.

????

thanks for your help,
MoonBunny

There was a post recently where Ryan said he made a change in the cookie setup for security reasons so you will have to log in and click the "save my password on this computer" option for the automatic logon to start happening again.

I've done that - a couple of times - but still no luck. I seem to struggle with cookie-related issues, might be my browser.

Thanks, though!

The only other thought I have at the moment is maybe the cookie/privacy settings you are using with your browser won't allow it to save. For example, I am using Internet Explorer with "Medium-High" and it works but other browsers may have different options. Assuming that is your browser, you can check by clicking Tools/Internet Options/Privacy. I know Internet Explorer also has an override option which you could try as well.

It is also possible some kind of other security program is blocking it but since I don't have any I can't test for you...

I'm having the same trouble with the auto login. (I'm really just writing this for Ryan's reference for when he gets back.)

I'm using IE with security settings at Medium. I also tried setting AQ as a trusted site but I'm still having to log in every time I go to the site.

Not running any other security programs other than Norton Antivirus. No firewalls or anything like that.

FYI, Ryan...

Well while I know computers, I don't do webpages so this will likely be my last thought on this one...

The only thing I have left other than something like duplicate cookies and other things I don't know enough about is that you may be getting a cached page even with the updated cookie.

You could either delete the cached files in Internet Options or do a forced refresh which is hold Ctrl and hit F5 at the same time (if I remember correctly).

Otherwise, I bow to the cookie maker Ryan unless someone has exciting new information that triggers a possible answer for me that I did not already mention.

OK, I deleted all cookies in the Internet Options for IE and then logged back in. That appears to have fixed it.
