Can the owner of a box delete someone's finds or attempts? If so how do you accomplish it?

I think only the finder can delete their finds.

Only a suggestion because I have not tried this after Finds were recorded, but what if you edit the listing to hide Finds and Attempts? Would that accomplish part of your goal? At least no one else could see it (I think).

I had a find that disappeared. When I went to record the box the listing was no longer there.

I haven’t checked this, but I think “hide finds/comments” applies to all plants, and can’t be applied to just individual boxes? I believe individual comments can be deleted, but not the finds.

I didn't think about that, so I just took a look at some of my plants. The ability to hide finds and attempts is on the Restrictions page of each listing, and applies only the the individual listing when the button is checked. I have a few that are restricted in that way, but most are not.

I am guessing that somebody recorded a find on one of his boxes. But in reality, they did not find it...they were either mistaken (it happens) or straight out lied (boooooooo!!!). So he wants to make this "find" disappear from the box's record.

It doesn't delete the find, it just changes it to be a non-AQ find... it still shows up in your AQ logbook and in your Find Count, though. Just the clue and details no longer have a link.

This involves a postal stamp marked as a find. In postal world you list your boxes on the trackers before the mailing begins. I hadn't even carved it yet and the mailings have not started.
The person is new to postals so most likely isn't aware of the problem. I have sent them a message to delete the find. However, having a postal already marked as found could lead to you being skipped.
Thanks to all for the discussion and comments. However, I didn't want to hide anything just make sure they are legitimate finds. Something you really wouldn't know with a traditional.

I recently had someone find an LTC that never has left my table. The person refuses to delete tho I have told them to.

Samesies (well, similar as it wasn't an LTC). As no one actually found it, I deleted the listing entirely.
