thanks to the folks at Wakeda! We had a fun and relaxing time getting properly inky with friends. Some of the boxes had us on a merry chase... and the few rain bursts didn't stop us. Another job WELL DONE! Wish I hadn't run out of steam... would have liked to catch those night boxes... but my sail was completely without wind by the end of the day!

As always, it was great having you and everyone who attended join us. It was probably our most laid-back, least effort, fewer stamps years EVER, and I was very pleasantly surprised how many people thanked us for that. We were a little worried there wasn't going to be enough to do!

So to everyone who joined us, both new and old Wak-os, thanks for showing up, mingling, helping out and just being YOU - I wouldn't want it any other way, and we wouldn't have all this fun without you! THANK YOU!!! ;)

So so soooooo much fun as always. It was nice to both letterbox the day away as well as actually get the chance to hang out with everyone. I can't wait for next year already!

... but, I do admit... I'm at work right now and I'm probably going to fall asleep at any moment. Worth it.

It was a lot of fun. It was nice to catch up with fellow boxers and to make new friends.

I have to agree! I so loved having time to box and talk. The food was terrific! I love the little creative surprises. And I must say I got a little nostalgic for some of those cereals I had when I was a child. Thanks to everyone (carvers, food bringers, planters, WOM contributers...), but special thanks to the team that created a fun event even at busy times in their lives! You guys are the best!

I couldn't be there this year, but I have been in the past, and it was a fun event to attend. The campground is nice and the people that work there are great. I am hoping to attend next year, especially since I have been so busy and have not done much letterboxing in a while. Glad to here that it was a successful event and everyone enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to some of that fun next year!

Yes, that is where home is, but I am not always "home", and can be away for long periods of time because of work. I was hoping to go again this year but knew it wasn't going to be possible this year. I am hoping to go next year though. Thank you.

Also enjoyed the atmosphere during my short visit. The straight forward boxing was welcome and relaxing after two days roaming NH and Maine. Got to chat some with a few boxers I had met before. Did get to plant one in Oxford ME and will post the clues shortly.
