I have a few days after the Spring Day event to spend in Massachusetts. I can go anywhere. Where would you suggest? I know you all have lots of boxes, but do you have any towns, graveyards, parks with particularly high concentrations of boxes? Where are your favorite series to hunt?

Andover, MA is the honey hole! Great series combined with great hikes on great properties!

For probably the most unique find in Ma. go to Needham St. Forest for the 'Birdhouse' box. LNBA 3384. There are other boxes in the forest.

It depends on where you are staying, but I would suggest first getting all the stamps in Village Park. It might be ambitious to do in one day with all the new stamps also being planted, and there are some great series there, including a bunch of blue diamonds and one purple that I'm...ahem... particularly partial to 😉. It is a really nice park to letterbox in.

Then, if you are staying in the area, I'd go to Douglas over Andover (stamps are nice in both places, but Douglas is a lot easier to get to). Douglas is maybe an hour from Swansea, and unless you're doing it during the weekday AM commute, it is a quick, easy drive. Plus, you can get one or two drive-bys in RI along the way...if you'd like to get RI finds too. Andover is 30 miles further away, and will take you an extra 1-2 hours to drive, no matter what time you choose to do it. The only reason to go to Andover instead would be if you are already planning to go into Boston, and aren't planning on staying at a hotel near Swansea (that way you can just keep driving north after you leave Boston).
