For our event in Auguust we have come up with another series. At bug light there is a Event with kites flying....all different kinds. So we are going to do a series based off of some of the kites seen.

We will be needing stamps for....

Lighthouse
Nemo
Butterfly
Squid
Shark
Eagle
Rainbow
Jack skelington

If you would like to carve any of these please let us know. They can be as big or small as you like.

It is for the "Come Fly a Kite" event on July 28, 2018 in South Portland, Maine.

Kites is pretty low key... we all gather - grab clue sheets, sit and gab, buy raffle tickets, go get some ink, come back and lunch/gab some more... if lucky - win cool swag, gab some more... more ink... make new friends... make fun with old friends.... sometimes forget sunscreen and pay for it later... kids of all ages fly kites... take photos of folks flying kites... tour lighthouses if open... might go get ink away from event site if I remember to print local clues...

Go home inky, sunburned, refreshed from being outside in Maine with friends... generally sleep like a log that night :)

The event that you linked is NOT the Come Fly A Kite Event. They are two separate events.

Someone had also asked about the Searsport event... I think there were multiple conversations happening :)
