Carving mishap? This might help
Board: Yakking It Up

I was carving my set of birthday hike stamps (insert shameless plug for PLP's Birthday Bash here :) ) and my hand slipped and one of the "legs" for a capital "H" got loosened from the rest of the pink (it was still attached, but flopping around a bit). I took a TINY drop of super glue at the end of a toothpick and placed the drop on the spot under the leg and then placed the stamp on a flat table and placed an encyclopedia on top of the stamp and left it there for 24 hours. (I had scrap papers in between the table and the stamp and the stamp and the encyclopedia just in case). It worked! The stamp is inking and I don't think you can tell what happened. I hope this helps!

I've used E-6000 before. I'll have to try Super Glue next time.

You just have to be REALLY careful not to get any on the stamp. It absolutely won't ink over the glue. Loctite superglue gel is my go-to glue for almost everything.

I've found that with E-6000. That's why I'm as careful as I can be.

Only time and stamping will tell. You can also back the whole thing with a couple of layers of clear packing tape or duct tape so that if it comes apart it will still be taped together.
