Events please!!!

Isn't there anyone who lives in the greater Portland area who will host an event?!?! I'm feeling a little deprived. LOL
I would do one but I'm still recovering from the last one (which was totally fun to do but after doing most of it myself, I need to take a break for a bit to save my marriage and family LOL)
I would be willing to help carve and bounce ideas off of ect.
<Sigh>
Tired of being inside and feeling the lack of inky fingers keenly.

We may speak in the future . . . I have some ideas. ;o) But for now, I have two hot ticketed items on my plate. One is Sleepy Hollow and the other my board game.

Midnight Flamingo and I are hosting one this summer. What about a carve in? We used to have those pretty often.. a get together where people can carve and make books and share ideas and get boxes ready to hide and share food. I'd be willing to host one if there was interest.

Yes, when is this event? Honeymama and I are trying to decide where our trip will be this summer, and we had a rather good time in the PNW last year...

On a related note, is there a website I can go to to see which parks were damaged by the fires? :(

A short answer to the park/trail question,
Oregon side, anything between Troutdale and cascade locks is closed. Multnomah falls lodge is open but none of the trails. Washington side.... closures are few and far between. I would hope that Oregon parks and recreation web site would have details on all that.
I have seen a few of the trails from the highway and they look to be very precarious and downright not safe. We have been told it will be years before they are rebuilt and safe.

I was just out there yesterday. Confirmed, all trails on the Oregon side are closed. The national forest web site has all the specifics.
