Need suggestions for visiting in July

Hi my Colorado friends!
We are planning in heading to the mountains this summer for some fun. We are hoping to raft a little - maybe even a few rapids?
Horseback ride - 1/2 day at most, and maybe add a bit of zip lining, or other adventure type activites outside.

There are way too many choices to choose from! Any suggestions for a cost effective location to get adventure in? We are also hoping to camp while we are there.

I have started looking at the Spouth Fork area, but have only found rafting so far, and lots of hiking! I'm happy, but the others want more.

Thanks for all the help!

That is why Colorado is so great, there are so many things to do. The biggest question is what do you and your fellow travelers like to do?

If you end up staying in the South Fork area, then you're just a hour or so away from the Great Sand Dunes, which you can hike up and then take a sled or skis down.

It's just a matter of figuring out what you want to do and how much time you have. And if you already have your own gear or have to rent as that will change the costs of things.
