Yes, it will be great to meet you in August! And I'll tell you a secret: there are lots of us (myself included) who can nearly always be talked into a trip to the Denver Cat Company. :-)

Actually, an update to the event page info: as of July 15, the entry fee is $7, but still $5 for seniors. It's not a big increase, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Boy, would this be fun! My sister is looking for a new kitty, but we probably won't go all the way from the Bay Area to Denver to get one! ;-) Plenty of kitties need homes around here! We, too, have a cat café, Cat Town, in Oakland. And Kudichan has a letterbox there.

Thanks for the heads up! We are so excited to head over there tomorrow and meet everyone! We went to a Rockies game last night! Super fun! Denver has so many great things to eat too! :)

Yes, Denver does have good restaurants! There are some quite close to the cat cafe. If you like vegan food, Vital Root is just two doors down, and across the street there's Hops and Pie or Royal Burger - both are really good.

We will have a fun time tomorrow. I met a friend for coffee over the weekend, and the cafe had 16 cats. It was really busy, but it should be quieter tomorrow.

Oh, and if you need something to read on your flight, there's also Book Bar a couple of blocks to the north of the cat cafe. It's a smallish bookstore, but it's lots of fun and they always have something good.
