Unless you're one of those folks who needs to "clean out" an area (and I get that!), I'd recommend that you don't try to find every box on a particular trail. You may find it more rewarding and less stressful to complete one of those exquisite series uninterrupted, or with an interruption now and then, instead of constantly switching back and forth between a dozen sets of clues.

No matter what you do, your feet are gonna hurt, but you'll be smiling! I wish I were going this year, but I'll be at another event and can't attend both. I'll be back next year, though. :^)

Oh yea, we know that pain all too well.
From our home all boxes are a considerable drive and the area (Ocala Nat'l Forest) that we spend our spare time in, is pretty much devoid of boxes.
If it wasn't for Eeyoremamas events I'm sure someone would take away our L'bxing ID cards...

Nope not our style. Even at the few FL events we have attended, we were unable to "get em all". I can't even imagine getting them all in Harold Parker?
To clean out Andover would take me at least a month! Trust me I'm no slacker, just not into it for the numbers but more about the experience of it all.
We boxed out our area years ago so boxing only happens when traveling. Sometimes we get lucky, sometime not. This time we hit the LOTTERY!

I am a new letterboxer, but am looking forward to planting boxes in the St. Louis and central Illinois areas. Of course, I'm looking forward to finding boxes too! :)

welcome to your new addiction! Cheddar, I suggest finding a couple dozen before you start planting them. that way you don't waste good carving on poor locations because you just are not aware of the pitfalls! :)

we planned a trip there years ago, but do to some medical issue had to return home after only 1 day.
our search found about 1,000 clues....overwhelming!!! but in a good way!
bummed we couldn't even get 10 of them....some day!

Sorry to be the bearer of news that makes things even more difficult for you, but you might want to save some printing paper for the next Twenty-two boxes which will be posted very, very soon!
