Carved stamp request

Hello fellow letterboxers/geocachers,

I'm in the process of creating a birdhouse box and need a hand-carved stamp that is not one of my own and preferably not one that most Ontario finders would encounter unless they do at lot of travelling outside of Ontario. Southwest Ontario has a nice mix of non-Ontario hand-carved stamps (Kirbert, 3 Blind Mice, SHH, Woody Clowns, Eli and Joe, Mr Ospital, deniserows). I'd like to add one more to the mix.

The box is going to be a hybrid, I'll be posting it on geocaching.com and atlasquest.com.
I need it to be approximately 2 inches square or 2.5 inches round or smaller.
I'd like to hide it by mid-April.
I'd like the image to be a bird (but not an eagle...I already have an eagle box planned for the Spring). Ideas: a bird from your area, your state bird, a fantasy bird or a bird you wouldn't expect in a birdhouse - flamingo, penguin, ostrich.

I would love to showcase a never-been-seen in Ontario letterboxer/geocacher's stamp. So if you're interested in having a stamp planted in the Wellington County, Ontario area, please let me know. You'll be listed you as owner and carver (I'll be planter). Example of one of my collaborative hides: I'm A Lumberjack And I'm OK

I'd like to plant it by the end of March or early April, when the weather starts to warm up around here.

Ok, I don't want to over-commit myself so if anyone else wants to carve something, go ahead. I have six carves to do by end of March. 4 of these have LTCs I also need to make. 2 are just replacements for my own missing boxes, but if I don't plant them by end of March, the series won't get any finders. It gets too hot in summer here. No one boxes in summer! Seems like when a series is missing a box or two, people just don't bother.

If I catch up in the next few weeks and you don't have a carved, I will contact you again, as I would love to help, but just am swamped.

My Chickadee should be arriving home shortly. I'd be happy to have it planted in ON as I have VERY happy memories of boxing around St. Thomas and London!

Wonderful. A chickadee will be lovely for an Ontario forest box.

So funny, I should come back and notice this thread. Several months ago, I carved a cute cartoon duck, from a Sandra Boynton childrens book. I've already paid to have it shipped twice now..the original taker stopped letterboxing.... I have a spot in mind, near me, that has a lot of ducks that I can try planting it at. But if you think it would fit your geocache hybrid series, I would be happy to be a part of it. I can post the image in my album if you want to see it.

Hold on to it for a week. If I can scout out a good location for a box in the next few days I'll very gladly plant your stamp here. Stay tuned, I'll email you by Sunday July 7.
